Editing Content in Joomla!
Do you know how easy it is to edit your content from the front-end of your Joomla! site?
Front End Editing
Open your website in your favorite browser like FireFox. In this example we are looking at the Mila Collaborative.
Log in to the front end of the Joomla! site with your user name and password. Once your are log in, a small edit icon appears in front of the article title. Click the edit icon. (See Image I)

A built-in editor (See Image II), much like Microsoft Word, opens within browser window where you can edit and save new content directly to your page. Remember to click save button at the top of the page.
Finding your Conent in Joomla!'s Back End
Getting trained in the back-end of the site allows for more complex control over all areas of your site. At first it might seem a little awkward, but I assure you will get the hang of it.
Below is short tutorial in finding your content in the back-end.
Joomla!'s Control Panel and the Main Menu
First: Login to the administrator panel. It is usually is http://yourwebsite.com/administrator. Type in your password.

You will automatically directed to the control panel pictured left. Here you have access to all areas of the site.
There are two major menus that you will access to control all the content in your site: The Article Manger, and the Module Manager.
Joomla!'s Article Manager

To edit main content of your website go to the Article Manager. Go to your Main Menu (horizontal menu below the Joomla! logo) >> Content >> Article Manager.
In the Article manager you will find a list of articles you can edit, add to, save and archive as you wish. I do not suggest you delete any content, just archive it.
Joomla!'s Module Manager

The second area of the site you should become familiar with is the Module Manager. The Module Manager controls menus and sidebar-content of your site. To access the Module Manager go to the Main Menu >> Extensions>>Module Manger. Here you will find all your modules of your site including your side bar areas.

If you fail to save this last step all your changes will be lost.
How to edit an existing link
When you have a link set up and you want to change it, it is first very important to break the old link before you try to re-link it.
Select the link, and hit the break link icon.
Once you break the link, select the text, click add link icon and type in the URL that you want to link to. Then click the Insert button at the bottom left of the small window. That window will close and your link will be highlighted.
